Around the world in 80 days
by Jules Verne
Review by Anjole Donapaty

This book is about Phileas Fogg traveling the world in 80 days. Mr.Fogg was a rich man, who lived in England. He was never late or early. He had no wife or children. He lived with a servant that he fired, and was waiting for a new one, a French man, Passepartout. A man stole money from a bank. At the reform club, Mr.Fogg bets that he could travel the world in 80 days. He takes the shortest way around the world. He goes to India, China, and the U.S.A. A detective thought Mr.Fogg stole the money. He sent Mr.Fogg to court. Mr.Fogg had to pay the fine. In India, he found a princess and brought her to the U.S.A. He married her. Mr.Fogg made it back to England in 80 days. Read more about his bet and see if he wins it!
I like this book because I like the idea of traveling the world in 80 days.
