Snacks will be served after the event. You are requested to complete the ICAEA Membership Form. Membership Fee can be paid by cash or check. Additional Forms will be available at the membership desk.

Auburn will soon have a fortnightly sale of ethnic Indian vegetables! Mr. Dhawal Raste and his wife (who run an Indian grocery store in Columbus, GA called "Apna Bazar") will have fresh vegetables for sale beginning next Sunday, December 6, 2009 (between 11 AM and 1 PM). He would also sell 'home-made' Indian snacks and sweets. The location is the parking lot of Goalpost Convenience Stores -- corner of West Glenn Ave. and 178 N Donahue Dr, Auburn, AL . This was an initative of ICAEA, and we thank Mrs. Leela Prakash, Mrs. Latha Bhavnani and Mrs. Niranjana Nayak for the idea and for getting this going. We greatly appreciate the generosity of Mrs. Bharathi and Dr. M. S. 'Sankar' Reddy for permitting this sale on their premises.

The India Cultural Association of East Alabama (ICAEA) strives to bring the Indian community of Auburn (and surrounding areas such as Tuskegee, Montgomery, Columbus) together. Many of our activities emphasize also our children as we seek to enhance their understanding and appreciation of Indian values, language and culture. The ICAEA also provides a venue to showcase Indian cultural splendor and thus help improve an understanding of India among the main-stream American community. » more
